Lucky 7 fashion tips

1. Dress for the body YOU have- not for the one you would like to have. There are fabulous fashion styles for both men & women alike that are designed and tailored to suit all shapes and sizes. Take advantage of this and empower yourself by wearing colours and styles that truly work for you.

2. Build your wardrobe upon the classic core items. An example, If you have the height and you suit a long trench coat, then go for it! Everybody should own some basic core items such as dress-jacket of some kind that can be dressed up, as well as brought down to a casual look. Quality accessories such as belts, bags and sunglasses can also end up this category. As a personal stylist, I like to take the quality over quantity approach. Basic tops, scarves, cardigans etc can be purchased at a very affordable price, therefore your wardrobe can always look updated while you mix & match these new items with your long standing classic items.

3. Denim will always be around in one style or another. Having a great pair of jeans that suit your body type and that are appropriate for your age are a MUST HAVE.

4. Ladies, be properly fitted for the bras you wear. Be mindful that with weight gain and weight loss that your bust may too have changed in size, so keep a check of this.

5. Gents, this applies especially if you are in the corporate workforce; be mindful of the accessories you wear. Always wear high quality ties, belts and watches. Your shoes, cuff links, wallet and or money clip is also just as important.
Looking the part helps in feeling the part, and feeling the part helps in being the part...

6. Don't be afraid to be individual. Before diving head first into buying the latest fashion trend, make sure that actually like it. What is it that you like to wear and would like to be seen in? If something takes your fancy and honestly suits you but is not necessarily the latest fashion trend, there usually is a way to incorporate your individual style into something that is 'fashionable'.

7. Fashion trends come and go, and come back again. Confidence never dates. Style never dates. Individuality never dates.
